Part of the URL will identify you to the merchant or program so that they will know to pay you commission. For the purposes of this website, we use the term "affiliate link" to describe any commissionable site that you promote.

Purchase Intention Your Purchase Intention instructs the system to find an affiliate link for you to purchase through. The "Shop anywhere to get customers" section in your portfolio is used by the system to find customers to purchase through one of your affiliate links.
Customer Acquisition Exchange Matches a community member with an affiliate link for your Purchase Intention, with another community member whose Purchase Intention matches one of your affiliate links. It may or may not be the same member.
Reciprocal customer The person who has been matched by the system to become your customer. This results in both members gaining a customer through their respective affiliate links.
Customer Reciprocation The process of two members partnering to become each other's customer. It can be used by any member who promotes or sells anything online.
